Our Program
By the end of the program, participants will be able to:
Understand the core principles of Cognitive‑Behavioral Coaching (CBC) and how thoughts, emotions, psycho‑physiology, and behaviors interact in a coaching context.
Develop a case formulation and provide Psychoeducational explanations.
Use a cognitive approach: Identify common cognitive patterns, automatic thoughts, and cognitive distortions. Use CBC techniques like Guided Discovery and Socratic Dialogue to support client insight and goal‑directed action.
Apply behavioral concepts based on the Learning Theory principles: classical conditioning, operant conditioning, reinforcement, modeling, graded exposure, and behavioral experiments to help clients shift maladaptive behavior.
Help the client set appropriate goals, develop action plans, and measure progress.
Work with the Emotional Component: Understand the function of emotions, identify and label emotions, and assess emotional intensity
Understand how physiological arousal contributes to dysregulation, learn the principles of the autonomic nervous system (sympathetic and parasympathetic), and apply evidence-based regulation techniques such as breathing, muscle relaxation, and guided imagery.
Use motivation‑enhancing strategies from ACT, Motivational Interviewing, and Change‑Readiness Models, tailoring interventions to the client’s stage of change.
Maintain clear coaching boundaries, practicing within the scope of coaching and recognizing when referral to mental‑health professionals is appropriate.
