When Insight isn't Enough

Do your clients sometimes:
Understand their challenges but keep repeating the same habits?
Get stuck in rumination or unhelpful thinking loops?
Struggle to let go of patterns that no longer serve them?
Gain insight in sessions but still struggle to create real change?
Do you sometimes find yourself:
Wishing for a multidimensional framework to see the full picture of your clients’ challenges
Seeking more effective tools to help clients create lasting change?
Wanting to offer a structured plan tailored to your client’s needs?
Looking for evidence-based strategies with proven impact?
CBC gives coaches practical, science‑based tools to help clients move from awareness to action.
Move Clients From Insight to Lasting Change
Proven Tools that Shift Persistent Patterns
CBT tools have been proven effective in shifting deeply ingrained and persistent patterns, including those seen in OCD, anxiety, depression, and different phobias.
When applied to coaching, these tools provide a powerful way to work through everyday patterns like avoidance, over-activation under pressure, and unhelpful thinking loops, expanding what’s possible for change and enabling more meaningful shifts with greater clarity and efficiency.
CBC is proven to be an evidence-based positive intervention for adults, with applicability in different areas of coaching (Tomniagà & David, 201). Specifically, the general population has shown positive effects for improving self-management, utilization of time, and achieving goals, along with stress, fatigue, and burnout, in a relatively short time.

About Cognitive Behavioral Coaching
Cognitive Behavioral Coaching (CBC) is grounded in decades of research originating from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Adapted specifically for the coaching environment, CBC offers a practical, science-backed framework that enables coaches to support meaningful, lasting change.
While traditional coaching excels at expanding awareness, clarifying goals, and supporting forward movement, CBC complements this by providing practical methods that help clients shift recurring behavioral, cognitive, and emotional patterns, especially when they feel stuck.
At its core, this approach is an action-oriented methodology that focuses on the dynamic interplay between thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and psychophysiological responses. It helps clients recognize what’s driving their patterns and, more importantly, how to shift them in real time.
This approach is fully client-centered, keeping ownership of the change process in the client’s hands and remaining fully aligned with the coaching mindset and ICF competencies.

How the Program Is Structured
This program combines asynchronous learning (AL) with live, practical sessions — designed to move from understanding → application → integration.
Asynchronous Learning (AL) – Building the Foundation
-
The asynchronous sessions are where the core theory is introduced.
-
Each AL session is 3 hours long (with a 15-minute break in the middle)
-
These sessions focus on the key concepts, frameworks, and tools of Cognitive Behavioral Coaching
-
You can either:
- attend the session live, or
- watch the recording on your own time
As long as you complete the session before the corresponding live session, you’ll be ready to fully participate.
Live Sessions – Turning Insight into Practice
Each AL session is directly connected to a live, practical session later in the week.
These live sessions are where you:
-
practice the tools and techniques introduced in the AL session
-
work through real coaching scenarios
-
receive feedback and guidance
-
deepen your understanding through application and discussion
Weekly Flow
First 8 Weeks
AL session (theory) → Live session (practice)
This structure allows you to:
-
first learn and absorb the material,
-
then apply it in a supported, interactive environment
Final 3 Weeks
In the final 3 weeks, the focus shifts to integration and mastery.
There are live sessions only (no new AL content)
These sessions are dedicated to:
-
applying the tools more independently
-
refining your coaching approach
-
working on case studies and final projects
